Northwest Oregon Housing Authority (NOHA) is taking applications for a full time Accounting Clerk.  All interested applicants must submit a NOHA application and their resume no later than 4:00 PM Monday, January 3, 2010. A valid driver’s license is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

Under the general supervision of the accountant, this position performs responsible and technical accounting work involving the keeping of financial records and statistical data and records; records transactions within established systems and procedures; exercises independent judgment in the processing of accounts; and analyzes and verifies financial reports and records of receipts.

 

Employee is expected to work productively in the absence of the supervisor.  Work is normally reviewed only upon completion.  Initiative and judgment are required in making decisions in accordance with approved procedures and precedents.  Accounting Clerk will perform a wide variety of duties related to the accounting section.
